After Hours
You need to go to the emergency department
at Milton Hospital, on Princess Highway, in Milton.
Alternatively, ring the hospital on
(02) 4455 1333.
Our doctors work at Milton Hospital with other
local doctors to care for patients after normal
working hours.
Home Visits
Home visits are available if circumstances dictate.
Please discuss with your doctor.
Telephone Calls
As you are aware, interruptions during the
course of a consultation can be very distracting
for both doctor and patient. Most queries are
best dealt with by consultation, if appropriate
your doctor will discuss a telephone query with
you. If the doctor is consulting, your call will be
returned as soon as the doctor is free.
If you require URGENT ATTENTION, please
inform the staff. One of the Nursing Sisters
will speak with you and convey your situation to
the doctor.

Opening Hours
The practice is open Monday to Friday,
8.30am until 5.00pm.
Making appointments
Appointments can be made by telephoning the
practice between 9.00am & 5.00pm Monday to
Friday. Every attempt will be made to provide
you with an appointment with the doctor of your
choice at the most suitable time. If your doctor
is unavailable, the staff will discuss an alternative
arrangement with you. The duration of a
standard consultation is up to 15 minutes. If you
feel that you need more time for your consultation,
please advise the staff to book for a long
consultation so that more time can be allocated.
If you require urgent attention please indicate this to our staff. You will be assessed by a Nursing Sister first and will be seen by the doctor as soon as possible.
